Does commercials try to "un-manify" all men?
Maybe the title is wrong, i don't know. But there are so many commercials out there where they promote that you are only hot without beard or a mustache. And in underwear commercials the men are absolutely hairless. Why is that? Many women i have met thinks that a man looks better WITH a beard or a hairy chest. And often do they think that the guys in the commercials are "less manly" than the average guy. And still the commercials have the same message, With no hair, you are HOT!

Is there a hidden agenda that tries to "unmanify" all men out there? I've had my beard since i was 17 (not so manly back then ;) ) and i have only been clean shaved once.

Any opinions on this matter?

The word I think you're looking for is "emasculate." And yes, I've noticed the same thing. As a man with a considerable amount of body hair, I can't begin to imagine sitting around all day obsessively removing every tiny bit of hair from every inch of my body.

I know what you mean. I myself don't have excessive amouts of body hair since my chemo 5,5 years ago. But my beard is still there!

But is this only in "western" countries, of is it happening all over the world? I've noticed emasculation (thank you for that world) in Japan, but maybe it is because of different culture?

All men on TV now are fat slobs who need their wives to help them wipe their asses.

Even if they are slim and attractive, they are effeminate

It is just more of the agenda to destroy men

And family altogether

it is the same reason that women should be hairless:

it signifies virility, being young and able to breed, and pre-pubescent.

My hubby has always been clean shaven, but he recently grew a mustache for something different when I asked him too. I think it looks great!

But since most of men are not gay, shouldn't the people at the marketing centre of the companies use non-gay models? Or maybe they want the guys girlfriends to buy them products to make them less manly?

I never found that. Most women I met/dated wanted a clean shaven face, but they admit to liking him to have a hairy chest.

I let my face slide for a few days at a time, but then i shave it.

I just think beards look ridiculous on men. And those goatees are uber-ridiculous.

There's this guy that I know, he's a huge guy with arms bigger than my legs, and he shaves his arms and legs lol. Actually he waxes them which is something I would never do. I can understand that some men prefer a shaved/waxed upper body but I don't understand men shaving or waxing their legs and arms. What's up with that anyway?
When I want to get rid of excess body hair I just use my trimmer. This will ensure that my manly body hair stays visible, short but visible.

The only beard I grow is on my dick.

Men who don't shave are lazy slobs.

Now the trend is to have stubble. Ooo women like that. No. I don't think women like that. It just means you are a hobo.

Not lazy. I'm up at 4:30 AM daily, so lazy is not part of my routine.

It's just not a priority to me, I can let it slide 2-3 days.

I mean, who cares? Not me, and I'm the only one who matters, as it's my face.

I've seen that on UK tv. Each man is made to look pale, feminine, stupid and emasculated. Unless, of course the male is black, then he is suave, all knowing and cool.

There is an agenda, that's for sure.
