Now I have to figure out the importance of the number 26. Been seeing it daily for 2 months now and it was everywhere in that movie. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1865251 NUMBER 26 The number 26 reduces to the number 8, although it carries with it the vibrations, energies and attributes of the numbers 2, 6 and 8. Number 8 is the number of Karma and carries with it the Universal Law of Truth that is Cause and Effect. It symbolizes form that is solidified into matter - ‘As you reap, so shall you sow’. 2 + 6 = 8". It would represent also the individual initiative in the fight against the sin. Gematria Numerical value of the name of God in Hebrew formed of the Hebraic letters yod, he, waw and he, YHWH, 10+5+6+5=26. This name of 4 letters giving 26 is found in the 4th chapter of the Genesis with its 26 verses, beginning with Adam and ending by the name of God. |

Area52 User ID: 30956462 United States 01/14/2013 10:39 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | FROM WIKIPEDIA; Plot The film opens with a high speed police chase and shooting in South Central Los Angeles. The officers involved, Brian Taylor and Miguel Zavala, are close friends and partners in the LAPD. Taylor, a former U.S. Marine, is filming their police activities for a film project, much to his fellow officers' chagrin. [ . . . ] The next day, the officers find a burnt vehicle used in the drive-by. They are shooed off the scene by homicide detectives. The officers respond to a missing children call, only to find them duct-taped in a closet. Taylor begins dating Janet. Taylor has a hunch and decides to scope out the home of the mother of a known gang member. The officers follow and pull over a truck that leaves the house - the driver draws a gun and is arrested. Inside the truck they find ornately-decorated firearms and a large amount of money. Days later, the two officers rescue some children from a house fire, but barely come out alive. The two are commended and receive the Medal of Valor. Using the house fire incident as leverage, Taylor convinces Zavala to further investigate the South Central incident. At the house, they arrest another man, who is also in possession of several ornate firearms, and is guarding a cell full of human trafficking victims. Suddenly, ICE agents arrive and take over the scene. One agent informs Taylor and Zavala that the house is tied to the cartels, and strongly urges them to "lay low" due to possible reprisals. Zavala's wife Gabby gives birth to the couple's second child. One night, the two receive an 'officer needs help' call from Sook, Van Hauser's probationary partner. Urgently responding to the call, the two find Van Hauser on the ground, alive but with a knife through his eye. He points them to a nearby alley, where they find Sook being savagely beaten. Taylor chooses to arrest the attacker instead of killing him. As the victims are carried away by ambulance, the officers discover that Van Hauser is not returning to patrol, and Sook is leaving the force. Taylor marries Janet. At the wedding, Taylor and Zavala's boss, "Sarge", drunkenly recounts a story to two Marines about his dead partner, who took a bullet to save him. Afterward, Zavala tells Taylor that, should anything happen to him, he will take care of Janet. [ . . . ] The two fight their way into an alley, where they are fired upon again. Taylor is shot in the chest and appears to die. As Zavala desperately attends to his partner, the assassins arrive and shoot him several times in the back, killing him. Backup eventually arrives and the gangsters are also killed after refusing to surrender. At the police funeral, it is revealed Taylor survived, because Zavala's body had shielded him from the gangsters' gunfire. He tries to deliver a eulogy, but only manages a few words: "He was my brother". Area52 |

NOTE THE BOLD PARTS AND HOW THEY PARALLEL OR COULD BE HINTS ABOUT, SANDY HOOK. THE COVER OF THIS MOVIE SAYS (FROM THE DIRECTOR OF TRAINING DAY" (TRAINING EXERCISES CONDUCTED TO CONFUSE THE EVENT, ETC) Ayer's directorial debut was with the film Harsh Times, a drama set on the streets of South Central Los Angeles, showing how drug use and past military experiences affects people's attempts to lead normal lives. He then went on to direct the crime thriller Street Kings, which was released in 2008. Ayer is currently in talks to direct a remake of the 1985 Arnold Schwarzenegger film, Commando. THIS DIRECTOR IS FORMER MILITARY WHO NOW WRITES FILMS ABOUT THE IMMORAL AND UNSCRUPULOUS LVIES OF POLICE AND MILITARY! HELLO!!!! FROM THE DIRECTOR'S PREVIOUS MOVIE STREET KINGS; Plot A disillusioned and borderline psychotic LAPD Vice detective, Detective Tom Ludlow (Keanu Reeves), rarely plays by the rules and is haunted by the death of his wife. All of the cops in Ludlow's unit, including the unit's commander, Captain Jack Wander (Forest Whitaker), bend and break the rules of conduct on a regular basis. The movie starts with Tom Ludlow waking up, having been drinking the night before. Working undercover, he meets with Korean gangsters (whom he believes have kidnapped two Korean schoolgirls) in a parking lot, who are looking to buy a machine gun from him. After a vicious beatdown, the Koreans then proceed to steal Tom's car. Tom however planned on this and has the cops locate the vehicle via GPS. Upon arrival at their hideout, Tom storms in and kills the four inside, and then locates the missing children after covering up what really happened. While the other officers in his unit congratulate him, he is confronted by his former partner, Detective Terrence Washington (Terry Crews). Washington no longer approves of the corruption and deception and has gone straight, reporting the problems to Captain James Biggs (Hugh Laurie), of internal affairs, who starts an investigation against Ludlow. Upset at Washington for "snitching", Ludlow follows him to a convenience store to confront him. However, Washington is executed in the store in an apparent robbery, with Ludlow present. Though Ludlow is innocent, the circumstances can heavily implicate him in the murder. The DNA of two criminals known as Fremont and Coates is found at the scene, as well as a large amount of cash in Washington's possession. It is assumed that Washington himself was corrupt, despite his seemingly changed attitude, and that he had been stealing drugs from the department's evidence room and selling them to Fremont and Coates. Ludlow teams up with Detective Paul "Disco" Diskant (Chris Evans), who has been assigned to the case to join him in his personal investigation. Their search for the two involves some tough interrogation of other criminals, which eventually leads them to a house in the hills where they discover the bodies of the real Fremont and Coates buried in a shallow grave. The condition of the bodies makes it apparent that they were killed well before Washington's murder. Ludlow and Disco, posing as cops who are willing to take over Washington's supposed activity of stealing and selling drugs, are able to set up a meeting with the two criminals masquerading as Fremont and Coates. The meeting goes bad when Disco recognizes the two; he is shot and killed. Ludlow manages to kill both men and escapes back to his girlfriend's house, where a news report reveals the "criminals" were undercover LASD deputies. Shortly afterward, Ludlow is subdued at his girlfriend's house by Detective Cosmo Santos (Amaury Nolasco) and Detective Dante Demille (John Corbett), two fellow officers from his unit who admit that they planted Fremont and Coates' DNA and the drugs at the scene of Washington's murder. The two cops take Ludlow out to the house where the two bodies were found earlier, for execution. However, Ludlow manages to kill both of them. He then heads to Washington's house to take care of their supervisor, Sergeant Mike Clady (Jay Mohr), whom he later captures and places in the trunk of his car. Ludlow eventually learns that he has been a pawn in a plan masterminded by Captain Wander. Ludlow shows up at Wander's house intending to kill him, when Wander reveals that he has incriminating evidence on just about everybody in the department, as well as judges, councilmen and politicians. With so many people in Wander's pocket, he has been able to quickly move up the department's ranks as well as bury his unit's corruptions. Wander tries to convince Ludlow that he is his friend and best officer, and tries to bribe him with a large amount of stolen money and incriminating documents hidden in a wall of his home. However, Ludlow shoots and kills Wander. Captain Biggs and Sergeant Green, who were "investigating" Ludlow, arrive at the scene and reveal that they used Ludlow to bring down Wander and get access to his files by opening Ludlow's eyes to the real corruption going on within his unit. As he leaves, Biggs tells Ludlow that the department does indeed need men like him; officers who are willing to bend the rules, but are ultimately honest at heart. Area52 |
