I wish it didn't cost less I would love to install a system for the back.

I record my driving with a dash cam now. Just in case some jackass cuts me off and causes me to wreck or I see an accident happen. No sound because of local and state laws regarding audio recording someone without their permission.

It's for insurance purposes. It is well known there that people are desperate enough to jump in front of a moving car to collect a claim. I wouldn't be surprised if that picks up here in the states when our taxes skyrocket.

I use the dailyroads voyager app for my smart phone and it's free. I use a vent bracket to hold my phone and everything out the front window can be seen, even my EAS radar/lidar detector is visible. It has the option to record cabin sound, but I keep it to strictly video for legal reasons.
