12/21/2012 and the Large Hadron Collider TIME MACHINE - hypothesis
We all know CERN held their supposed last test for a while on 17-21 December 2012. What were they doing then...

What if, as the article below informs us is possible, the LHC ***is*** a time machine, capable of "causing matter to travel backwards in time" ?

Well, then, we have been going backwards and AWAY from December 21, 2012 since CERN's last run of the LHC! Our calendars and clocks say one thing, reality is another!
That is my trip-out hypothesis.

Large Hadron Collider Could Be World's First Time Machine, Researchers' Theory Suggests

If the latest theory of Tom Weiler and Chui Man Ho is right, the Large Hadron Collider -- the world's largest atom smasher that started regular operation last year -- could be the first machine capable of causing matter to travel backwards in time.

Just throwing it out there for discussions sake.

What if 'they' just bought us some time?

Re: 12/21/2012 and the Large Hadron Collider TIME MACHINE - hypothesis
"No doubt the idea of motion backward in time makes a grievous assault on common sense. The world just does not seem to operate that way, as our ever-aging bodies testify. However, to a particle physicist raised on a diet of Feynman diagrams, motion backward in time is not all that disturbing. All fundamental particle interactions work backward as well as forward and, with rare exceptions, do not distinguish between directions of time [The rare exceptions occur in so-called CP violating interactions involving short-lived particles called K0 and B mesons, which are thought to have different probabilities in time-reversed directions. These can be ignored in the current discussion since they play only a very indirect role in the structure of normal matter]. "

Is There a Classical Analog of a Quantum
Time-Translation Machine?

ABSTRACT

In a recent article [D. Suter, Phys. Rev. A 51, 45 (1995)] Suter has claimed to present an optical implementation of the quantum time-translation machine which \shows all the features that the general concept predicts and also allows, besides the quantum mechanical, a classical description." It is argued that the experiment proposed and performed by Suter does not have the features of the quantum time-translation machine and that the latter has no classical analog.

It is not all that telling, BUT -

That *is* THE-
CERN Document Server

That is CERN -

As a matter of a fact, on the CERN Document Server, if you do a search for "time travel" you get:

Results overview: Found 39 records in 0.47 seconds.
Articles & Preprints, 11 records found
Books & Proceedings, 13 records found
Multimedia & Outreach, 15 records found

Here is one example -

Report number arXiv:1212.1006
Title Time machines and traversable wormholes in modified theories of gravity
Author(s) Lobo, Francisco S N
Imprint 06 Dec 2012

Search for yourself, if anything else, it is very interesting.

Very interesting..
Some day we will know why everything is happening the way it is.. only let love in and it will set you free.

Thanks.

BTW - in general, when you do a web search on CERN Document center, you'll get your results. Most are in "Preprint."

If you click on that hyper link, "preprint" you will be able to download the PDF. Wild action.

So now the question is, if this is what they are showing us - what cards do they have in the hand they are playing?

Or is that it?

No test on which date? Dec 17th or back in 2011? They did do a test on the 17th (Dec 2012), for sure - the reports on that are out there.
