Not hell at all. Just take a deep breath and look at the positive: Our western society has, over the last 5 or 6 decades, conditioned us into turning over to the 'healthcare system' our sense of personal responsibility. All of this 'hell' should help, if not force, people to realize that they have the power and resources to take care of themselves, for the most part.

People go to ERs and doc visits for mostly trivial nonsense, especially given that we live in the age of information. Doing just a little research on the internet will provide most people with better health care than a 2 minute joke of an MD visit. Obviously I'm not talking about major issues, but even with those, taking personal responsibility is VERY important, but VERY seldom done. I could give countless examples...and likely will in a bit...

One thing though to mention - you will be able to judge that a healthcare system is GOOD, when it focuses attention on prevention and education. In the USA, prevention and education only occur among the enlightened few - and gov't has done nothing but symbolic nonsense in these most important areas. (because billions in profits would be lost by big pharma, etc. - but you already knew this).

Perhaps you should scan the Daily Job Cuts website and acknowledge all the hospitals, health clinics, dental facilities and pharmaceuticals closing or laying off thousands due to obama funneling funds to his dubious obamacare, which by the way is lapelled affordable healthcare and not free healthcare.

Without a doubt, obama has his sticky fingers deep into our pockets and people like you drool over him never seeing the theft of your money for metered and expensive healthcare.
