Plus Arctic Birds in Florida (Dec 30) Didn't read the thread or links yet, but I need to ask, Do they fall out of the sky on the July 4th? Quoting: novamom (I can hear official explanation now) "The open beers and fermented watermelon left out after picnics sedate them and they sleep through it." The solution to the bird deaths-get the birds drunk before the fireworks!* Wait, this will not work: [link to www.bbc.co.uk] Alcohol poisoning, not avian flu, killed Romanian birds People who discovered the dead birds were worried they had died of avian flu Birds that were thought to have died from avian flu in Romania instead apparently drank themselves to death Last Edited by zenobiaphobia on 12/31/2012 10:30 PM Books relevant to our current situation will appear here at random: [link to archive.org] |

The trend stated strong on 2011, followed stringer in 2012, and now it seems we are going for a repeat. Things that make you go Hmmmm. All great truths begin as Blasphemies. G.B.S. GLP is like a diamond mine of information, in the sense that you have to shovel mountains of crap to find the diamonds, but it's still worth the pain. |

Plus Arctic Birds in Florida (Dec 30) Fireworks will scare roosting birds. Witnessed it myself this past forth of July. A large colony of ring billed gulls was startled by them. They where flying in all directions. Quoting: Blue Skies As for the Razor bill. Strange that they would venture that far south. Makes me wonder if they know something about the weather, that we don't. Well every year we have bonfire night here in the UK. They set them off a week before and up to a week after every night and guess what no reported bird deaths. Also counts for New Years eve Fireworks. Shit just search YT for major city events on new years eve. London for example they go off for ages and they put on a massive show. Any reported bird deaths NOPE! |
