You have a bit of a point about top earners not wanting to / avoiding paying taxes. Truthally though, do you really think you should pay anything in the UK? The NHS is a fucking joke, the school system employs people who really have no spark for teaching, the roads are terrible and just about everything that the taxes are supposed to be for has been outsourced to private companies, which, funnily enough, are all ran by the rich bastards in power. They make the laws for themselves and kick the lower classes whilst they're down. They have a choke hold on small businesses and wonder why the country is in the state it's in. I really think they should be lined against a wall and shot and I don't care if they class me as a head case. It's the truth. The UK is a fucking shambolic joke meant to keep people hanging on by a thread. Pay your rent, get your food. Be a good serf. That goes for the USA too. They recruit 90% of the armed forces from poor and middle class families. Teach them they are something special (private, general, Sargent) and we are "civilians" It's basically a mind fuck! My little brother is a lawyer so I had him do the initial legwork. He is not a tax attorney but he will also oversee the eventual court battle I will end up in with the IRS. I set up a meeting with my boss. He is a very wealthy and powerful individual. I, myself, am in the top 10% of earners in the US. I didn't outline my ultimate intent but he is no dummy. He had no problem going along with my wishes. I asked him to fire me. He did. Then I reapplied for my same position except as a private contractor. I told him he could keep the medical benefits. I no longer want them either. As a paid contractor, he no longer has to deal with witholdings for me. I file them myself, which I simply will not do. No more taxes. I don't care where this ends up. I imagine in a couple years I will be audited but we are starting the case now. If the crooks come at me, I will have a 20,000 page case against them. I will take it to the top. And I will not be going to jail. My assts will be liquidated by then. I imagine the tax revolt will spread as people see their earnings stripped. Hopefully guys like me can encourage some of the cowards to come out of their shell. This has been done in protest before. One thing they did, since they were protesting how and where their tax dollars were being spent, was to put what they would "owe" into an escrow account to prove that they were not simply "evading taxes" but protesting. I don't remember much more about that, but if memory serves, it kept them out of jail. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 19396116 United States 12/31/2012 12:31 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It's all based on fear. The fear of being incarcerated is what keeps people paying. If everyone stopped paying taxes then they would be in fear. The problem is getting everyone on the same page. It would take a massive tax revolt by millions. Using the internet to accomplish this would be easy. You just create an Association (lobby) like the NRA but instead it's all about taxes. Everyone who joins would be on the same page with the intent to stop paying taxes if demands are not met. 10 million members would be a big chunk of change in tax revenue. I suspect the number of members would exceed 10 million. |

I myself am tried of paying taxes and seeing nothing properly done with it. its like where I live, they rather spend the cities money on gold courses instead of the roads. And our roads are utter crap. And their idea of repaving them is an utter joke. Half ass crappy jobs. Bumpier bumps now, uneven because they let the gravel sit for, I am not joking either, 2-3 months before actually pooring. Which gives time for cars to push this gravel all over the place. They do not bother to fix it or level it. Just poor right over it. Cops giving out tickets like candy. I mean, a cop literally gave me a ticket for stopping at a stop sign. o.O He only pulled me over because the person he pulled over said I did not stop. I was like, wow. Did I fight it? No. Did I pay it? No. I am not wasting my time, loosing a day of work to fight something I should have not gotten in the first place. And to only loose? And still pay $300 some odd dollars? You are OUT of your mind. The city makes enough money doing that alone. They do not need my tax dollars. Maybe if I actually saw some good in this city, my views would be different. This is distinguished from a recusable obligation which, according to Bouvier, arises from a voluntary act by which one incurs the obligation imposed by the operation of law. The Income Tax succinctly described is an irrecusable obligation. However, if anyone else accepts this private credit and uses it to purchase goods and services, the user voluntarily incurs the obligation requiring him to make a return of income whereby a portion of the income is collected by the IRS and delivered to the Federal Reserve banksters. Actually the federal income tax imparts two separate obligations: the obligation to file a return and the obligation to abide by the Internal Revenue Code. The obligation to make a return of income for using private credit is recognized in law as an irrecusable obligation. The voluntary use of private credit is the condition precedent which imposes the irrecusable obligation to file a tax return.
