And current systems can handle any of the games that have been recently released with no problems. Consoles are holding gaming back because the games need to work for PC and Console at the same time. Take Battlefield 3 for example. They had to tone down the graphics of the console version of BF3 and the PC version is much better looking. And a 300 dollar card will play BF3 on ultimate settings. |

So you just put a card in it instead of buying the PS3 or Xbox. Those Consoles are SOO OLD. They need to update the hardware because its pretty sad, they are being pushed to the limit, basically they cant do anything else with them because they are maxxed out. |

Because of the pressure to keep up with hardware, especially if developers could go "all out" as you suggest, hardware upgrades every 18-24 months would be required for the largest group of consumers on the market. PC games just wouldn't be able to sell the number of units to allow the companies to make money and get better in the first place. |

I have the same card , two of them in slide, works great at ultra setting i still have an nvidia 295gtx after 4 years every game still run in ultra specs my ps3 next to this card its like playing a ps1 again.... |

For example, I can't stand FPS games, and much prefer to play an adventure, like Myst. PCs rule for that type of game. |
