In the week since I got the compass the needle has moved a few degrees. I'll continue on for the next several weeks at least. It's something anyone can do with tape, paper, a compass, a stable surface (the floor works), and a pen. See pics below   |

Then I checked my compass, it is reversed... I own lots of magnets and copper wire... just saying with me, I know it could not really be trusted. So I started asking other people if they had a compass. You can guess the looks I got. I found my other compass, it reads normal. But on the plus side, I already have a compass that is reversed... so when the poles do flip I will not have to reverse it in my mind... but how will I know a old compass from a new compass after the pole flip? Maybe we can have all the compasses from the southern hemisphere shipped north? Good post. Keep watching. |
