What type (or quality) weed sells for $3 a gram? To an outsider, that sounds too good to be true. Quoting: ANHEDONIC Try $50 ounces. If you don't mind popcorn bud. And I vape, so its all the same to me. [link to www.cannabis-med.org] Cannabidiol is a component of marijuana that does not activate cannabinoid receptors, but moderately inhibits the degradation of the endocannabinoid anandamide. We previously reported that an elevation of anandamide levels in cerebrospinal fluid inversely correlated to psychotic symptoms. Furthermore, enhanced anandamide signaling let to a lower transition rate from initial prodromal states into frank psychosis as well as postponed transition. In our translational approach, we performed a double-blind, randomized clinical trial of cannabidiol vs amisulpride, a potent antipsychotic, in acute schizophrenia to evaluate the clinical relevance of our initial findings. Either treatment was safe and led to significant clinical improvement, but cannabidiol displayed a markedly superior side-effect profile. Moreover, cannabidiol treatment was accompanied by a significant increase in serum anandamide levels, which was significantly associated with clinical improvement. The results suggest that inhibition of anandamide deactivation may contribute to the antipsychotic effects of cannabidiol potentially representing a completely new mechanism in the treatment of schizophrenia If herbal cannabis makes you psychotic, please stop using it. No drug is right for everyone. [link to www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov] |

I think it should be classed the same as alcohol. You smoke and drive, you get pulled. You smoke at home and relax, fine. You smoke in public, you get same as public drunkeness. Just my thoughts. |

Smoke away, just don't expect me to pay for it. You wouldn't be expected to =/ I used to smoke weed almost every day, working a full time job. I didn't need help from the government to support my harmless habit. I wasn't robbing or stealing, I'd go buy a cheeseburger and read a book or take a hike. It was so simple. I just got bored of it after awhile and quit overnight. It's completely harmless and I'd rather my children be occasional pot smokers than alcoholics, since I've got the seeds of addicting planted firmly in my genetics. |

For those who can actually read peer reviewed research, they find that it is LINKED to mental illnesses....solely because people with mental illness tend to use it. It does not cause or trigger any mental illness. Research. BULL! It can cause brain cancer, lung cancer and paranoia. Worst of all it exposes you to hordes of demons and is a gateway drug. The powers that be want you on dope, nice and compliant and stupid.
