I am sure adrenaline and norepinephrine as well as a whole host of neurotransmitters are involved. I was thinking you were talking about romantic love/puppy love. I am talking about the everyday walking, talking kind where love permeates not specific to meditative states. Anybody can tweak out on meditation, neuro enhancers, etc. I am talking about self gnosis - Buddha, Jesus, etc.
