Have you guys heard the story of Dadhichi?

Indras enemy was vritra serpent/dragon. The only weapon that could defeat the serpent was dadhichi's spine. Indra, from the spine, made the weapon varja ayudha(seps signa pic)

In Hinduism, the Asuras are non-suras, a different group of power-seeking deities besides the suras, sometimes considered naturalists, or nature-beings.

The Daityas and Danavas together were later used for the term Asuras. As time passed, the vedic Asuras began to be referred as the lesser beings while in Avestha, the Persian counterpart of the Vedas, the devas began to be considered as lesser beings. The Asura were opposed to the Devas. Both groups are children of Kasyapa. Clearly, in early Vedic religion, both the Asura and the Devas were deities who constantly competed with each other, some bearing both designations at the same time.

I thought this was fascinating.

I have put both those words into Gematria... I would have posted them on aether's thread but I feel that it is most proper to keep my 'insanity gem' musings in the 'Hex Tower' from now on... unless other threads beg for it of course.
