That was parallel to my thinking, the Commander for US troops made the mention of this when asked if things would calm down. I think he is grasping for reasons to think North Korea would act sane, they are acting sane for some nation that could any moment launch an EMO device and destroy the American empire.

Gen. James Thurman, the top U.S. commander in South Korea, said that in his two years on the job he has never seen things as tense as they are right now, telling ABC News the situation on the Korean peninsula as "volatile" and "dangerous."

Thurman said in his exclusive interview with ABC News that his " job is to prevent war," but that his greatest fear is a "miscalculation" that causes "a kinetic provocation." In military parlance, kinetic refers to combat.

This situation with Korea certainly appears to be escalating. It has me very concerned for my family members that teach English in South Korea and Japan as well as the soldier sons and daughters of friends that are stationed in those areas.

Welcome to my life...the more you know about what is going on behind the scene creates a strange mixture of paranoia and the calm that comes with knowing. The two begin to blend with your personality and way of thinking. The problem is when the strange mixture begins to fog/influence your thinking. Once your thinking becomes linear due to the influences it's time to get out of the game. Not every difference in countries opinions will result in doom, as a matter of fact it is somewhat rare. On the other hand, there are some disagreements that currently have a hair trigger and if they go to war, let's just say they have far less respect for life, theirs or their enemies, doom, although somewhat localized will be epic. We currently expect that cooler heads will prevail and there will be no doom in the near future, however, like I said...hair triggers.

China guys, watch them closely!!!

Just received word they are letting the South Koreans leave the industrial complex, but still not allowing the next shift of workers to enter.

My understanding from the other running threads is that these folks are the ones who showed up for work, but were not allowed entry - they're the ones seen/ reported as returning now.
