I offer to discount what North Korea says today as nothing more than bellicose rhetoric. They gave South Korea firms an opportunity to leave the joint industrial site until April 10 th. From sources, they look at the language and meaning of the young NK leader as simply undisciplined testosterone until he proves us wrong. Frankly I wish the intell agencies would take another look say he is nuts and bomb the shit out of North Korea but no. He has been hired by Iran to do what he is doing. He is willling to keep pushing the envelope but this is logical as The US will not challenge him where it hurts such as military reprisals. The US has remained calm so far based on the intell that this is all for play for Iran. The US and Obama in particular will never let a crisis go without taking advantage of it. He is playing the North like a fiddle or the other way around. Neither position wishes to place Iran in the spot light.
Now reality may set in when one side or the other is found to have played the other better. We will find out if North Korea is bluffing, or will act and we will see if the US has any answers or has answered the gamemanship of North Korea and Iran or let them win. Finally what other groups or nations win by what is happening or lose? They will dictate the end result perhaps.

There are more questions than answers when it comes to the Norks. Closed societies are, on purpose, very hard to read. Questions come up like what is Kim Jong-un's view of reality? Does he only know what he is told by his handlers? Has anything that has been released in his name actually come from him? Is he just a useful idiot for the military or another member of the family that really has the power? It is very difficult to solve an equation with only one known part of the problem. I wonder if anyone in NK is pushing for us to smack them knowing that when the US smacks someone what follows is tons and tons of money to rebuild what we broke...usually improving their situation over prewar standards. Just a thought.
