Hagel's comments on North Korea -

North Korea is "skating very close to a dangerous line" after weeks of saber-rattling, U.S. Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel warned Wednesday as northeast Asia watched for an expected missile test.

"Their actions and their words have not helped defuse a combustible situation," Hagel told reporters at the Pentagon. He said the United States and its allies want to see North Korean rhetoric "ratcheted down," but if that doesn't happen, "our country is fully prepared to deal with any contingency."

AND - North Korea is known for launching sneaky attacks that they can't immediately be blamed for...Wouldn't a bio attack be just their style?

The missiles are fueled. They have to fire soon or they'll have to dump the fuel and service them. DPRK doesn't have the money or the resources to be doing that.

true....so at most they have a few more days I think...truly shocked they did not fire yet...don't honestly know what is the hold up on their end

Wed. night TV newscast from Pyongyang contained not a single word of war talk nor referenced missiles, cyber attacks or Kaesong. #DPRK

Nathan Hunt ventured last night that they may be waiting for when Kerry goes to Pyongyang Friday....sort of a 'display of their might and resolve' type of thing.

Here's what State Department posted about trip -

Secretary Kerry will travel to the Republic of Korea, China, and Japan from April 12-15 to meet with his counterparts. He will discuss a range of bilateral and multilateral issues, reaffirming the Administration’s commitment to further broaden and enhance U.S. economic, security, and strategic interests in the Asia-Pacific region. The Secretary will arrive in Seoul on April 12, continue on to Beijing on April 13, and travel to Tokyo on April 14.

Secretary Kerry will depart Tokyo for Washington on April 15.

it's getting really old....

Trust me...Lil Kimmy is looking for an offramp, but he didn't think far enough ahead to build one on this road to war. He will probably launch one or two test missles. One of them will probably go over Japan. Japan will probably shoot it down as a slap to his face. He doesn't have nukes he can launch, so no one is worried about that. As far as his tunnels go, if it gets that far, we currently have the appropriate aircraft and munitions in the theater to destroy most of the tunnels...for the most part they have been mapped.

starting to think he's not going to do anything and will probably be offed by his own people in a few months time...then we'll have to deal with some other ahole then do this dance again probably, then again...I'm wrong most of the time anyway

I think North korea will attack Hawaii and make another pearl harbor. With those 2 missing torpedo submarines.

They will launch a nuclear tipped torpedo in the port.

I made a threat about a 2 hours ago or something.

The only card NK has is the ability to put a gun type fission device on one of their subs and send their sailors on a suicide mission

I'm with ya on that. He has to 'put right' what he thinks his daddy failed at and he's painted himself into a corner with his rhetoric. He can't lose face with the people or the world. He'll pull out all the stops to keep that from happening. They think they don't have anything to lose....they're soooo wrong. Korea will be unified alright...UNDER CHINA.

KCNA statement broadcast at 0328 UTC: "Unpardonable treacherous crime to turn Kaesong Industrial Zone" into "hotbed of confrontation."

KCNA statement aired on radio says "present chief executive" of #ROK cannot shirk responsibility for putting Kaesong at risk of closure.

#DPRK media for first time mentions #ROK Pres. Park Geun Hye by name, saying her "regime" stands for confronation with N. Korea.
