Russia Sends More Advanced Missiles to Aid Assad in Syria

Russia has shipped an advanced antiship cruise missile to Syria, a move that illustrates the depth of its support for the Syrian government led by President Bashar al-Assad, American officials said on Thursday.

Russia has previously provided Yakhont missiles, as the weapon is known, to Syria. But the missiles that were recently delivered are outfitted with an advanced radar that makes them far more accurate, according to American officials who are familiar with classified intelligence reports.

My first thought is what is the proposed delivery date. Let's just say it's on or before June of 2014. If I was the Russians I would want to be friends with the potential winner of a possible conflict. Diplomacy is a strange business. Putin could have said..."we will deliver the launchers by June of 2014 as promised, however we will not deliver the missiles until the training is completed somewhere around the end of 2014, will that give you enough time to complete your mission? Now, there is some technology you are working on...we would like to initiate a symbiotic relationship between our countries to further the technology. What say you?"

Watching and waiting . . .

Russia has already sent missiles to Syria both Anti-ship and s300's. Gasp! No shock here, that is the only thing Russia could do except send troops in, gasp! They have done that too! Hook in Jaw looking more real!

This pawn has now become a queen. A queen now allowing Syria to move more arms to the Hezbollah. Syria seems sure that it can do so with little re-course.

Meanwhile, Israel will not stand for Russia's move. Israel will hit more weapons transfers. Whether Syria responds is unknown.

More over-flights in Lebanon for Israel. More warnings of potential Israeli air strikes. Perhaps the next strikes will be commando or drone?

Who were those Asian troops seen at the Damascus airport? Causes me some concern that North Korea is now looking to deliver some special weapons to Syria such as un-tested nukes.

Lastly, the inept Obama Administration has been so shell shocked by all of the negative press and scandals that they need some crisis to get even their friends at the media to relent and let them continue on their corrupt ways and continue to destroy their enemies, the true American patriots.

Israel has not attacked any shipments from Russia, only Iran. I would think that the batteries are Russias property until they are officially delivered and accepted. Putin would not take kindly to Israel breaking their shit while still in their possession. Could cause greater turmoil. Israel and Russia have trade agreements, they are not enemies. There are talks going on behind the scenes.

Israeli leadership as a whole are too smart to try to be the ones to do it. The Israelis react to aggression, they generally don't incite it.

Nigerian warplanes strike 'Boko Haram camps'

Hey guys. I don't know if it means anything or not, but we seem to be back in the flight path. Yesterday, it was jets. Today, it was heavies. We haven't been in the flight path for at least 5 years. It could just be a re-route because of the weather, Idk. They're heading west from the southeast.
