A war of attrition of continuous static duels and attacks from both sides in the Golan would mimick that which happened in Lebanon for a number of years until the end of the 2008 battle. The arabs have the numbers and sadly care less for death than does Israel. Thus, Syria, Hezbollah, and their Persian friend would prefer such a war of attrition. My note, do not expect Israel to take this approach very favorably. Mil Man would take troops and grab more land off the Golan from Syria for each transgression making it impossible for Assad to continue such a dangerous game.
