If I was a tyrannical despot I would wait until the hottest months of summer to put the screws to people. People are less likely to rise up, demonstrate or rebel when its 100 degrees outside. Just sayin...

If they want us to get out of control, though, they'll do it in the summer AND turn the power off. it was 94 degrees here in the Washington DC area on Tuesday and it may be hotter Wednesday... Yikes, that's hot for you guys. We're supposed to hit 106 tomorrow, but it's supposed to cool down to 92 by Saturday. That's not too bad.
