He will not leave Israel until Sunday. Quoting: Steve5728 From July 1st on, all bets are off! My theory: US and Russia acknowledge Iran has just crossed a critical line that requires a US-Israel attack ASAP, which Russians assess will quickly bring in Syria-Hezbollah-Hamas-PA-Egypt-Lebanon-Gaza-Golan immediate and all-out response. Russians are bugging out of the hot zone and will respond by remote control. Secy of State trying to coordinate Gulf States collaboration with US-Israeli actions, much like they did when Saddam invaded Kuwait. Damn right! |

Did you ever see the howitzers and such out in front of VFW's and Legion halls and other public buildings? Mostly they were placed there during and just after WWII. When I was a kid in the 60's, most had been filled with concrete by then. Now, they just aren't there anymore. Originally, they were placed for civil defense. Get it? |

High war alert in Israel Quoting: Anonymous Coward 42353072 DEBKAfile Video Jun 26, 2013, 5:11 PM (IDT) Shortly after DEBKA aired a special video on the Syrian war’s widening circle, Moscow announced Wednesday June 26, the evacuation beginning Friday of all Russian military and diplomatic personnel from Syria was complete, including its naval base at Tartus. “Russia decided to withdraw its personnel because of the fear of an incident involving the Russian military that could have larger consequences,” said a defense ministry official in Moscow. A 16-ship naval task force remains in the eastern Mediterranean. An unannounced Israeli war maneuver was conducted on the Golan. More on [link to debka.com] Guess the Russians forgot about the 200 well armed "military advisors" they left behind. Someone should email Putin and let him know. I know the voices aren't real, but man do they come up with some great ideas! Semper Fi USMC Very much an Occams Razor kind of guy. Bridging the gap between "It can't happen to us" and "We're all going to die". |

One just reminded me that Ramadan starts on the 9th. Think anyone is going to care about that? Quoting: Texan Buckeye Everyone is dreading it.. Ramadan is called a time of peace; but many wars have been fought during it. Arab leaders have been known to start conflicts right before Ramadan. If it goes poorly - they have a built-in excuse to stop fighting.. Here's an article from 2001 - the general sentiment is right on - [link to www.economist.com] |

novamom User ID: 42291993 United States 06/26/2013 11:47 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I have question that I think somebody in here might know the answer to.. This past weekend my brother left for his deployment. Being that I have not seen him in almost 5 years and he had to stay in Norfolk for a night, I drove there to see him. He had to stay at a hotel close to the naval base and I ended up staying at Langley. It's been about two-three years since I last been two either of these places and I remember them being busy (for the lask of a better term~long day). This past weekend seemed odd; there were hardly any people anywhere. Saturday afternoon I drove all over Langley and did not see one person walking.. only two cars at the gas station, the pool was empty, and there were eight F-22's parked with nobody with them (that I could see). Oh, the hospital and hotel seemed normal. Also, the naval station had a little more action, but not much. What I would like to know is, has this become the norm? Were was everybody? Did this happen when the 15's left? Please feel free to PM me if it's more comfortable~ Thanks |
