my entire family is also sick ...some it's lungs and a few have the flu...been that way for over a month now!

Most of the people in my extended family have been sick, and a lot of people in the apartment building I live in have been sick, but I live alone and never get sick. I've never had a flu shot or a pneumonia shot and haven't been to the doctor in years. I did have the flu in 1995 but don't think I've ever had a cold in my life.

I try to eat right, get plenty of rest, take care of my self in general, and practice good hand washing techniques but don't take vitamins. I had the windows open earlier today when it was snowing and 31 degrees out to let fresh air into my apartment and always air the place out first thing every morning while I'm having coffee.

both my kids got strep throat...antibiotics and after a week all is fine...interestingly, they did not have high fevers or no fever at all.

My kids and grandkids had this stuff and by the 14th of december i caught it from them and still fighting it.

No more fever but i get damn tired if i move around doing normal housework,still have congestion and cough.

I have never had anything like this!

Grandkids were on antibiotics but i have no health insurance so ive been fighting it with oj,lots of water and i rest as much as i can.

I was talking to my niece the other day and she's never had a flu shot either. My sister said she had only had one several years ago, she's well now and her hubby who gets one every year is sick with the flu.

BTW, I have noticed also that many around me have colds and or the puking/diarrhea stuff. I think I would rather have a cold than that other crap! I hope the germs stay away from my family!

... In 1919 when the flu killed 40 million people there was this Doctor that visited the many farmers to see if he could help them combat the flu...
Many of the farmers and their families had contracted it and many died.

Thanks for the reminder. I don't know about the farmer's story...but, I do know that I contacted pneumonia, and, needless to say, I was very ill... I came across an article that said to cut both ends off an onion put it into an empty jar, and place the jar next to the sick patient at night. It said the onion would be black in the morning from the germs...sure enough it happened just like that...the onion was a mess and I began to feel better.

Another thing I read in the article was that onions and garlic placed around the room saved many from the black plague years ago. They have powerful antibacterial, antiseptic properties

I live in a large apartment building so I set up an Ethernet network and shut off the wifi signal at the router and my laptop several years ago. I don't have a cordless phone and have never had a cellphone in my life. (Or a credit card for that matter.)

Everyone in our building has an electric meter in their apartment but mine isn't a smart meter. If they ever do put one in, despite my objections, I'll wrap it in foil or wire screen mesh.
