E15 is stupid. You get the low gas mileage of Alcohol, but it still burns hot like gasoline so you can't do anything special with it.

Gasoline burns hot, but provides most power per volume. So best gas mileage.

Alcohol burns cool and has higher octane rating. It however has less energy per volume. But because it burns cooler and resists "pinging" better you can cram alot more into the same volume. Thus you can make alot more power at the expense of mileage.

So you either want all gas or all alcohol. E85 is much better then E15.

Some incorrect information here, ALL 2012+ Chevy cars and trucks & 2013+ fords are designed to run E15 fuel, not just flex fuel cars. The reason the EPA postponed mandating E15 is because only 12% of cars on the road can run it yet.

Just bought a tank of E15 for my 2012 domestic turbo car(likes premium octanes anti knock ability's), E15 was 15 cents less than regular 87 octane but is 90 octane. I get premium like performance from my car for less than the cost of regular gas.

BTW my MPG only dropped 2-4mpg with E15, about the same drop I get with E10 gas vs E0(100% gas).

Dub! What are you, fucking stupid? Read your owner's manual. It'll tell you what fuel to use.
