I plan to grow the glass gem corn I posted about the other day! I would send you some in return!!! oh the days of bartering I bet life would be better if that was how we survived and we did away with all food compainies who are poisoning us. I think everyone who is able and has the space to grow fruit and vegetables should. Heck with grass and having a lawn we cant really eat it and if we did it wouldnt be pleasant lol I have a funny photo about that I am going to try to find it and post it. It shows someones front yard is a vegetable garden and it says grow food not a lawn your neighbors will judge you regardless or something to that effect it was awesome!!! I am really wanting to try that one I was just looking at an ehow article for how to prepare it. When I saw the ones at Winco last time I was there I would have gotten one to try it but I couldn't figure out which ones were the best pick. A lot of them had started to mold. I noticed they had them all individually wrapped in plastic. I'm guessing it's extremely perishable like Acai berries and Figs are. Figs are my favorite fruit! Its a challenge to find them fresh here though. The dried ones do not compare!! They are too sweet! Ohhh...I live in the "land of figs", Algarve to be exactly, and I don't even like them...A rarity, because everyone here likes figs... I only eat them dried and full with roasted almonds (Figos cheios in portuguese)!!!! A really good treat! Try it that way ;-) [link to translate.google.pt] I would love also to try that dragon fruit!!!It's so beautiful and it looks tasty |
