THIS! This 'fiscal cliff' shit is a total sham, just another bunch o crap to make the sheeple believe the government is going to 'do something' about the country's problems. Well guess what? The whole fucking government was bought and paid for long ago (with a few notable exceptions such as Ron Paul), and there is NOTHING that can be done to right the fiscal ship short of abolishing the bloodsucking Federal Reserve and completely overhauling the nation's monetary system. There are plenty of skeptics, who know nothing about monetary history, that argue that going back on the gold standard would be impossible or is a stupid idea. They are wrong. Gold is making its way back into the monetary system AS WE SPEAK. It can't become legal tender again soon enough.

THAT'S precisely why the Republicans refused to "compromise." They didn't want to increase taxes with no meaningful cuts in spending. boehner finally caved because of all the pressure he was getting given the lies in the press.

Why anyone would be surprised at this is beyond me.

I'm sure the White House doesn't like it because the taxes and spending aren't enough to get us to Greece fast enough for them.
