Thank you and I caught that at one publication and I made them correct it. I used specific language to make them realize it was wrong. They did the right thing in the end. Seeing this story on the news reminds of when I was 6. We sat in a line and the teacher whispered a sentence and by the time it was to the back it was all jacked up. This is our news. I thought the NY Daily News did the best job. Objective and clean.

For those giving OP a hard time about his stance on guns....which he clearly explained in a post a few pages back.

A little girl I know was shot on New Years Eve. She was outside watching fireworks and was hit by a "supposed" stray bullet.....so they say. She is currently in a coma and on life support. She is not expected to survive.

All because some crazy person was shooting a gun in the air at midnight...If this is true, who wants a person who would do such a thing to have a gun? Gives me the creeps that this will be another incident used to take the guns, but I do want to see this person happened. I find it highly suspect. The coincidence is so remote, yet there is no answer. Odd how she was surrounded by people at the time she was shot but no one knew she was shot. They initially thought she had fell and hit her head. It was not until she arrived at the hospital that it was realized what had happened.

It is too tragic and absurd to take in. I'd like to know how a bullet from a gun shot in the air can come back down and hit a little girl precisely on the top of the head above the forehead and exit from the back of the head (brainstem area). Sorry to be so graphic but this has my head spinning. It doesn't seem plausable or I have been on GLP for too long.
