From a foreign perspective it appears most Americans don't even know what a redneck is.

Democrats say it's any christian, southerner or republican. Most media seen outside the US (and in it) is Democrat driven so this is what we are told.
GLPers also seem to call anyone who opposes the democrat party, believes in god, wants proof of the identity of their president a redneck. Oh yeah and a southern or midwestern accent makes you a redneck too.
Also anyone who likes country music is a redneck.
