Keep your research up and do your preparing in the background for your own peace of mind then live your life as normal and enjoy your family. There is nothing wrong with being prepared in case of a disaster, war on our soil or anything for that matter that threatens your freedom and right to live your life.

If by some chance something does affect you and your family, you will be in the position of authority because of your preparedness.

If by some chance that becomes something you must act upon and your family chooses not to follow you but instead put their faith in the system and people who they do not even know -
