Re: Sandy Hook - The "Survivor" from Ms. Rousseau's Class
My question is this: why, after two weeks, are two Ct. daily papers reporting drastically different outcomes for this child? Hasn't there been enough time to clear up the confusion? Shooting supposedly took place in two classrooms only. The shooter was supposedly dead when police entered the building. Why so much confusion, this long after the event?

Sorry, but the account you cite from the NH Register conflicts with the one I cited at the top of the thread from the ct post.

The register says Engel died in a policeman's arms at the school, while the Post says the child from Rousseau's class, who they don't name, died at the hospital.

Another glaring inconsistency from two local papers.

Now here's the link to the wikipedia page talking about Sandy Hook.
[link to en.wikipedia.org]

The wiki entry says 15 kids killed from Rousseau's class. We can only assume the other 5 were from Soto's class, since a total of 20 kids were killed.

But look at the article they cite for the information! It's the Daily Telegraph.

[link to www.telegraph.co.uk]

The Telegraph article says 14 from Rousseau's and 6 from Soto's.

Wiki cites the article, but bungles the numbers that were reported in it.

Must just be another "honest" mistake, eh?

Re: Sandy Hook - The "Survivor" from Ms. Rousseau's Class
I think the little girl from Rousseau's class ran out of the school. She was one of the first ones out. I think the account of the girl being carried out is about another girl.

From Wikipedia:

Lauren Rousseau, a substitute teacher, was shot in the face and killed.

Fifteen of the sixteen students in her class were killed; a six-year-old girl was the sole survivor. Her family pastor said that the child survived the mass shooting by playing dead and remaining still until the building grew quiet and she felt it was safe to leave. She ran from the school, covered in blood, and was the first child to escape the building. When she reached her mother, she said, "Mommy, I'm okay, but all my friends are dead." The child described the shooter as a very angry man.

"a very angry MAN"
would a child describe a twenty year old as a man?

Re: Sandy Hook - The "Survivor" from Ms. Rousseau's Class
OP not sure if you know this but the "surviving" girl in question on Dec 28, 2012 was apparently suing the state of Connecticut for $100,000,000.00 (the girl's name was never released, and doesn't 100M seem like a lot to be suing for?)

Anyways the reason for the lawsuit was...
"...based on the claim that the state of Connecticut had failed to provide a secure environment for the students at Sandy Hook Elementary School.".

3 days later (Dec 31, 2012) the lawsuit was dropped.
"Sandy Hook’s $100 million lawsuit was withdrawn because New Haven attorney Irving Pinsky received new evidence about the security at Sandy Hook Elementary School.".
[link to www.examiner.com]

I am VERY interested in what "new evidence about the security" he is talking about, which would warrant dropping the lawsuit fully, as the public has been told next to nothing about "security features" (we haven't even been told if they had a single working camera).

This all seems like a way to simply sell the public that this little girls story actually happened (as a 100M lawsuit got a lot of attention in the media). The whole Sandy Hook event stinks and this is just one more of the oddities surrounding this event.

Listen to the police scanner for that day... over 2 hours after the event took place an officer says (paraphrasing) "it is confirmed that the victims were all sent to Danbury Hospital"... a few mins later a different officer gets on the line and says (paraphrasing), "I just talk to the Danbury hospital directly and they say they haven't received anyone yet, and have no confirmation of anyone planned to be coming, so we better figure out what is happening because they are saying nothing is confirmed".

(this is also around the same time that they are looking for 2 additional suspects in a purple van, wearing ski masks and nun outfits believed to be linked to the Sandy Hook Elementary crime... yet another piece of info no MSM source will touch, even with a 40 foot pole.)

I love how the live police scanner for that day contradicts the official story in basically every way.

It would seem obvious that they DID have a security system and protocol in place, that's why he withdrew the suit for now. I'm leaning more and more towards the killer gaining entry prior to 9:30 as all the timelines seem shoved forward to give the cops a better appearance of reacting quickly.
The fact is they were at the school for over 5 minutes before the shooting stopped meaning they could have saved more lives but failed to do so.
That is not an indictment on their actions - clearing a school with a shooter takes time and must be done with extreme caution.
The police are still covering up something major, perhaps nothing more than the fact that the Bushmaster was not used in the murders.

my gatherings show the different discrepancies in the numbers reported in each class...

remember the officers saying '14 jackets and 14 corpses he killed them all'....what happened to the extra victim's jacket and the survivor's jacket:

First time hearing someone say 16.... The class apparently had 16 in it total, but the one girl that played dead and survived would have made it 15 dead.. Was the father assuming the whole class was killed?

Whatever law enforcement official it was stating 14 jackets 14 corpses has a lot of 'splainin to do!!

I think it's very strange that we still don't know how many kids survived and how many died in each classroom. That seems like pretty basic information that should be known by now.

Part of the problem, I think, is that it isn't clear which classroom Emilie Parker was in. She doesn't appear in either class photo.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 25326483

Numbers don't make sense no matter what classroom you put Emilie in.
Victoria Soto's class picture shows 15 students.

6 students died
6 students ran out of class
7 students in closet
TOTAL: 19 students.

No numbers make sense.

Matching the alleged victims to the faces in the class pictures tell us how many in each class.

15 in rossaeu (sp)'s class, 5 in soto's....

so that is why police saying '14 jackets 14 corpses he killed them all' is mind blowing to me...and imo the biggest red flag so far.

there were 15 from that class, and the 1 that apparently played dead and survived, so there should be 16 jackets.

the article i sourced for my info also said robbie parker said emilie was in rosseau's class but was HOME SICK THAT DAY..
what a coincidence!

That's why it has to be 15 from rosseau's class.. you can match children in class photo to media released pictures.
14 pictured + emilie = 15.

From the New York Times, January 28 2013:

"Officer Penna, who was the first officer to enter the second room, found a girl standing alone amid the bodies. She appeared to be in shock, and was covered in blood, but had not been injured. He, not knowing the gunman had been found, told her to stay put.

He ran into the next classroom and saw the dead gunman, with Officers Chapman and Smith standing nearby. State troopers and other officers were now flooding in. Officer Penna returned to the second classroom, his rifle slung around his chest, grabbed the uninjured girl by the arm and ran with her out to a triage area set up in the parking lot."
