Sandy Hook - The "Survivor" from Ms. Rousseau's Class
Since Dec. 14,2012, I, along with many other people, have been trying to sift through the conflicting media reports to find out what happened at Sandy Hook. I started a few threads that deal with the inconsistent media reports about Ms. Soto's class: who survived, how they survived, and who died.

Thread: Another Sandy Hook Inconsistency - Caught on local talk radio
Thread: UPDATE: Sandy Hook Inconsistencies Abound - Survivors from Ms. Soto's class - Censored by WTIC radio
Thread: MAJOR SANDY HOOK DEVELOPMENT
Thread: SANDY HOOK - Ms. Soto's Class - Details Change AGAIN!!

This thread addresses conflicting reports about Ms. Rousseau's class, the only other classroom (so we're told) that shooting took place.

One local paper, the Hartford Courant, reports that one student from Rousseau's class survived. Here's the article, from 12/31.
[link to www.courant.com]

and an exerpt:
"About 30 minutes later, gunman Adam Lanza blasted his way into Sandy Hook Elementary. He entered Rousseau's classroom and killed her and all but one of her students, who somehow survived the shooting. Lanza killed 20 children in two classrooms and shot six adults to death before killing himself."

Another local paper, the Connecticut Post, reports that the same student later died at the hospital. The article from the Post is also dated 12/31.
[link to www.ctpost.com]

and the key passages:

"The room is full of the bodies of children. But one child, a little girl, still shows signs of life.

A tall, muscular man, Chapman scoops the child into his arms and runs out to find an ambulance. He tells the little girl she is safe, that the police are there to protect her and that she is loved."

Later in the same article:

"The little girl she and her crew rushed to the hospital is pronounced dead."

If you read the whole Post article, it's clear that the girl who dies is the girl found alive in Rousseau's class.

My question is this: why, after two weeks, are two Ct. daily papers reporting drastically different outcomes for this child? Hasn't there been enough time to clear up the confusion? Shooting supposedly took place in two classrooms only. The shooter was supposedly dead when police entered the building. Why so much confusion, this long after the event?

Re: Sandy Hook - The "Survivor" from Ms. Rousseau's Class
I think the little girl from Rousseau's class ran out of the school. She was one of the first ones out. I think the account of the girl being carried out is about another girl.

From Wikipedia:

Lauren Rousseau, a substitute teacher, was shot in the face and killed.

Fifteen of the sixteen students in her class were killed; a six-year-old girl was the sole survivor. Her family pastor said that the child survived the mass shooting by playing dead and remaining still until the building grew quiet and she felt it was safe to leave. She ran from the school, covered in blood, and was the first child to escape the building. When she reached her mother, she said, "Mommy, I'm okay, but all my friends are dead." The child described the shooter as a very angry man.

I'm not sure I buy that. Look at this Courant article:
[link to www.courant.com]

"There were 14 coats hanging there and 14 bodies. He killed them all," said a law enforcement officer involved in the case."

At best, this is disgraceful reporting.

It depends on whether or not the child in question is
Madeleine Hsu. Her father is Dr. Wen Chung Hsu of
the emergency medicine department at Danbury Hospital.
That is where the kids were alleged to be taken and
allegedly died later, or didn't depending on the story.

I would bet you anything that Danbury Hospital and Dr.Hsu
were taking part in the exercise drill at the school in Putnam Co. 20 minutes away from Sandy Hook that was taking place at the same date and time.
Staff would be told these kids came from the drill so no
worries if they get up and walk away.

I think it was a bait and switch and the hosptial may have played a pivotal role.

Now any ideas on who the other alleged child might have been who was killed?

There's no way to definitively say how many allegedly died
in Ms Soto's classroom.

6 allegedly at Rosen's house
7 hiding in a closet
6 allegedly shot

Her classroom size was stated as 15 students.
These are awfully small class sizes given the norm
these days at any rate.

Normal class sizes where I live are 25-30. Nearly
double those at Sandy Hook.

In reality, it should be very easy to establish how many kids were in both classrooms to start, how many died, how many survived, and how the survivors survived.

I mean, it's only the biggest GODDAMN story to EVER take place in Connecticut. What the hell are these "reporters" doing????

I agree. You are supposed to listen to the 3 second sound bites and believe.

So the same child lived and ran home to mommy.
Or died at the hospital.

Be dazzled by our amazing bs, signed the media.
We are not here to inform, but to tow the official
line which is to confuse the public, so that they
can not get to the truth.

Rousseau's class.. 15 students..13 bodies in the classroom one dead at the hospital...total fourteen dead. One survivor.

What I don't get is the 14 coats crap. Maybe the surviving child as (auto response) decided to crap her coat before leaving the classroom.

We can be pretty sure the child transported to the hospital did not tell the emergency medical personel.."hey, grap my coat".

Maybe one of the children didn't bring a coat to school that day.

I don't know....many things don't make sense. The entire maddening event is horrid.

It's not a complicated case, or shouldn't be, according to the official story. Regardless, they all site law enforcement officials as their sources. And they ALL get it wrong every time.

I am not saying the conflicting media reports necessarily indicate an inside job. I'm just looking for an explanation. This is not a story about a cat who ran up a tree. This is huge. The details need to be ironclad. Why are they anything but?

I think it's very strange that we still don't know how many kids survived and how many died in each classroom. That seems like pretty basic information that should be known by now.

Part of the problem, I think, is that it isn't clear which classroom Emilie Parker was in. She doesn't appear in either class photo.
