Look at social medicine in the UK. They have around 80 million and around 12,000 starve or dehydrate from lack of care in hospitals. We have around 350 million people. Imagine socialized medicine with this many people.
Quoting: sonic doom it is going to be very scary. i do believe that when it first started that teh british system worked quite well and was truly something to be proud of, but as it has gone on and the amount of immigrants who have never paid into the system has crashed it. something has to give and as the government tries to cut costs, the quality of care has to suffer. we may still have enough of our system left to make it, but our kids won't. how sad. That's what eats me up inside. I worry about the bill my kids are going to have to pick. in 30 or 40 years we will be europe and all that means, none of which is good. they have been around for a 1000 years, but we are too young to die. leftism is a mental disorder and a plague on normal people. That leaves us over the death panel number. Oh well
