1. I do not like them at all and think you should read the review at this link befor you buy one, and would recommend a Ruger 380 LCP, or even a
Beretta .32 Auto as a good CCW Firearm.

I carry a Glock-19 But would not recommend one for a novice shooter do to the safe action trigger.

Thanks, man. I actually just read that review about an hour ago.
 Quoting: Sleeping Giant

Good to go The Beretta .32 Auto is a great CCW
firearm. It is made very well, has a Good Safety on it that is easy to use, and it is a good shooting Firearm for any threat out to about 50 feet.
 Quoting: USMC0369

I'm leaning towards the Kel-Tec PF-9 for my ccw. It's fairly inexpensive, and reliable. I want to put my money into a new rifle.
 Quoting: Sleeping Giant

The Kel-tec PF-9 is ok but But far from being on my top 3 list. If you want a Pocket Handgun, I say go with the Beretta .32 Auto, but you need to buy whatever works the best for you.

I haven't held the Beretta. I will definitely check it out tomorrow, if in stock. Thanks for the advice!

When you池e talking about a CCW handgun you need something that you know will fire every time.

Yes 100%

There are three type of people
Sheep (90% of People)
Wolfs (8% of people) (they hurt and take advantage of the 90%)
And Sheep dogs (2% of people) they protect the 90% from the 8%.

Hehehe, I thought it was funny too!

Actually, I was around guns as a child, my Dad shot Skeet and Trap. We were at the gun club most every Sunday. My mom was a better shot than a lot of the men. She shot in Class D and won her class once against the men. My Dad was AAA. I despise guns. My brother is a gun fanatic! He got most of the guns except for the 12G semi-auto.

Are you of the opinion that a woman needs a gun or should I just stay away from them? I live in the semi country and I don't like snakes. There are plenty of poisonous ones in my part of the country.

Answer:
Every law abiding citizen man or women of right mind and character should have a Firearm. But they all need to take the proper steps and learn how to safely operate the Firearm.

Only a fool would actually recommend the pathetic .32 as a CCW firearm. Whats next, a Jennings .25 auto?

I'm the novice female thinking about getting a gun. I have been researching on the internet and found sources that say the .32 HS can have as much stopping power (a 300 lb man on drugs) as the .38

To me it seems that a revolver would be easier for a novice than a gun with a clip? Much easier to load the, uh, rounds (a new word I learned) and pull back the hammer than to insert the clip and pull the whole gun to load?

How do you rationalize the agenda of the militarization of local police departments with federal military-grade weapons and recent surges in police brutality against dogs, homeless and mentally ill? Is this to turn LEOs against the people and vice-versa? What percentage of LEOs do you feel will currently stand with the people vs. with tyranny, and do feel this percentage is swinging in one direction or the other?

99% of all shooting take place within 21 feet. A .32 Auto is just as good as a 9mm at that close of range with the proper ammo in it. (Personal protection Ammo) The Question was about a pocket Firearm for a CCW Firearm. The .32 Auto is great for that you start moving up to 9mm and it gets way to balky.

As far as a revolver. It is a very safe Firearm. With the Double Action Trigger that most modern revolvers have today there is NO WAY that you will pull that trigger is less you want it pulled. Unlike some of the Automatics that have a hair trigger on it. The safety on the Revolver is the trigger.

Have you ever shot a Revolver?

If it's a double action pistol, you won't have to pull the hammer back. Just squeeze the trigger real hard. Point and pull.

You are correct and a revolver has less moving parts so there is less of a chance of getting a malefaction that would be hard for a novice to clear and put back in action.
