I’m a NRA Pistol / Rifle Instructor ask me any question you like

A Little bit about my back ground. I spent 10 years in the Marine Corps and spent another 6 years working as a Commando and a Weapons instructor for the Iraq, and Afghanistan Commando’s. Furthermore I'm a T-3 Certified Weapons Instructor for the US Government. I’m all so a NRA Pistol / Rifle / Refuse To Be A Victim Instructor and an NRA range Safety Officer.

A few more of my instructor certifications are OC Spray instructor, ASP Instructor, Handcuff Instructor, Defensive Tactics Instructor, DOD RSO / OIC Certified, Ant-terrorism Instructor, First Observer Instructor, Small Arms Weapons expert (SAWE) and a few more that I’m not listing.

Ask me any question about Firearm safety, safe operations, and self-defiance and I will do my best to answer you. I will check in once a day to answer all of your questions.

Here is a free pointer for every one out there that likes to shoot. If you use these four fundamentals every time you will always hit what your aiming at.

4 fundamentals of Shooting

1) Steady Position
2) sight Alignment / sight Pitcher
3) Breathing Control
4) Trigger Pull / Squeeze

What exactly do you mean by Anti terror instructor?

Who is your target audience?Gov , corporate?

Are you talking about kidnap avoidance, IED mitigation, or something weapons related?

I ask because I have a background in this and am considering getting into the field.

My specialty lies elsewhere though, mostly in relation to devices.

I would tell you to take a women’s Pistol orientation Class. In the class you will shoot a 22, 32 Auto, 380, 9 mm, 38 Revolver and a 40 cal. It will allow you to figure out what is the best for you and teach you to shoot it safely before you go out and spend a lot of money on a gun that does not work for good for you.

Question: Is a revolver a safer pistol to operate?

Answer: All firearms are deadly, and you need to be properly trained on them and use common séance before using, caring, or shooting any of them.

After saying that a revolver is the most reliable and the simplest pistol to use for a novice shooter.

Re: I’m a NRA Pistol / Rifle Instructor ask me any question you like
Every Shooter needs to know and practice the NRA Safety Rules before going to the range or even buying a Firearm.

Link:
[link to www.aaof.com]

NRA Gun Safety Rules
Three Fundamental Rules For Safe Gun Handling

1. Always keep the gun pointed in a safe direction.

This is the primary rule of gun safety. A "safe direction" means that the gun is pointed so that even if it were to go off it would not cause injury or damage. The key to this rule is to control where the muzzle or front end of the barrel is pointed at all times. Common sense dictates the safest direction, depending on different circumstances.

2. Always keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot.

When holding a gun, people have a natural tendency to place their finger on the trigger. Don't do it! Rest your finger on the trigger guard or along the side of the gun. Until you are actually ready to fire, do not touch the trigger.

3. Always keep the gun unloaded until ready to use.
Whenever you pick up a gun, immediately open the action and look into the chamber(s) which should be clear of ammunition. (If the gun has a magazine, remove it before opening the action and make sure it is empty.) If you do not know how to open the action or inspect the chamber(s), leave the gun alone and get help from someone who does.

1. I do not like them at all and think you should read the review at this link befor you buy one, and would recommend a Ruger 380 LCP, or even a
Beretta .32 Auto as a good CCW Firearm.

I carry a Glock-19 But would not recommend one for a novice shooter do to the safe action trigger.

Good to go The Beretta .32 Auto is a great CCW
firearm. It is made very well, has a Good Safety on it that is easy to use, and it is a good shooting Firearm for any threat out to about 50 feet.
