I do not think it is just big talk.
I think they have reach a turning point where they are fed up with government's abuse of its power.
The 2nd Amendment issue is only part of a much larger discontent about big government abuses.
As such this could very well turn into a very nasty fight that is not related to just the 2nd Amendment. If it does so, all those who have a problem with government rules, from drug use to banning natural foods, immigration and states rights, could become one big movement.
Expect things to get more exciting, real soon.

I do not think they will take the guns... I think they will outlaw ammo, make it controlled. Too hard to get 300,000,000 guns in a geographical area like the U.S.... No they will just control the bullets, you can keep the gun.

To all those saying the 2nd Amendment supporters are going to lose, do you not realize gun owners are massive in numbers in this country? That there are hundreds of very well organized patriotic ( not counting the fringe neo nazi's or KKK etc) militia groups who will fight back? Do you not understand how these organized groups, through guerrilla warfare can stand a chance as such tactics have been used by our militias to aid in our countries revolution against the British and such tactics have worked against the Soviets and now the US in Afghanistan and continue to work else where? Do you not realize there will be police and active military who will defect and come to the support of the people, thus bringing their own "toys" with them?

Take a step back and think about this on a much larger scale. Look at the BIG picture.
