JEHOVAH God, our Father's first creation *was* Jesus. Jesus, with and through God's willingness, was able to use Jehovah's "active force" (holy ghost if you will), to create us.

God created the platform -

Psalm 33:6
The LORD merely spoke, and the heavens were created. He breathed the word, and all the stars were born.

Jesus worked with God -

Genesis 1:2
The earth was formless and empty, and darkness covered the deep waters. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters.

Colossians 1:15-18
More on the importance of Jesus, but note, he is not JEHOVAH -

John 1:3
Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.
