How about SOMEONE explain this one?
John 9:17
"They took Jesus, therefore, and He went out, bearing His own cross, to the place called the Place of a Skull, which is called in Hebrew, Golgotha."
Golgotha is Calvary, Jerusalem.
Then in Revelations 11:8
"And their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city that symbolically is called Sodom and Egypt, where their Lord was crucified."
Umm yeah definite contradiction here, or am I missing something?
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 23754089 The people would have known John meant Jerusalem. It was "symbolically" equated with Sodom for its corruption and wickedness, and Egypt for its oppression of God's Covenant people. Funny how someone has an issue over 2,000 years later.
