As a Hebrew speaking Jew I've known about this since I was a child. There are THREE different creation stories in genesis but first is creation of the world, second of lower man (neanderthals) and third of higher man.

Also the Tower of Bable is talking about Atlantis and is out of place.

There is plenty of archeological evidence around the world that the flood happened at the time of the fall of Atlantis. Little ice ages ending will cause floods.

None of this means that the Bible lies, but it has been altered a lot over the years to suit men in power.
