My point is that the KJV is based on the Majority Received Text of Hebrew and Greek manuscripts translated into English and the English of the KJV also lines up almost exactly with all the previous English versions as well. Quoting: Veresanctus you ARE aware that the Hebrew, not to mention the Greek scripts were already translations, yes? and that English in the 17th had evolved over the number of centuries before? And no, I can not tell you if and / or which of the main German variants are based on the Septuaginta, and I assume you are also aware that very few of those text fragments are still existing, so basing anything on those precious few remaining text fragments while claiming the original Septuaginta was the real basis for the KJ variant is a bit spurious.
