To sum it up thus far...there are two different creation stories in the first few words of the bible book of Genesis. The truth is always singular. Therefore, right out of the gate we have a Lie.
Thus, built on a foundation of a Lie, the entire series of bible books become suspect. Billions of human minds have been poisoned by this belief system and some people are like snarling dogs trying to rip the throats out of those that question this literature.

It simply can not be. One receives the Holy Spirit through being reborn of God by accepting His son Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

It would be the equivalent of you picking up something written in a foreign language you have absolutely no knowledge of and proceeding to profess to read and have complete understanding. It simply can not happen.

The best way to know whether if bible (OT and some parts of NT) is evil or not is to imagine yourself as God

Then next you want to ask yourself these questions:
What kind of world you want to create if you were God?
Will you punish your own creations?
Will you take the immortality away from your creations and replace it with suffering (hungriness, tiredness, thirstiness, etc)?
Will you let your creations to live in ignorance (not giving them knowledge)?
Will you just give your love to one nation (like israel)?

There are so many questions in that bible (mostly in OT) you can use to question yourself.

Depends on the answers, there are two outcomes: you will realize that you are being blinded by bibles and churches or you will be happy to accept the illusion of God served to you by 'these people'

The Yahweh God that you worship has been known through many generations as Zeus, Jupiter, etc, and yes this Yahweh God has been used by 'these people' to control everyone around the planet.

That was why gnostics (like Plato etc) appeared to challenge them.
