His name is George Kavassilas if you want to learn more about him, but I wouldnt waste my time. He did come up with this date 3 years ago though. He did have interesting theories on certain subjects and was convincing to an extent, but nothing he said came to fruition. The nonsense he spewed was that around 11/30/2011 portals would begin to open and we would be safe inside the portals for the up coming changes. He then said by 12/21/12 the portals would close. From that point to 3/21/13 the planet would then start to straighten up on its axis and the planet will become a start and we would all ascend with the planet. Sort of a stairway to heaven thing. I think he robbed people of their money. He had a world tour where he charged like $150 for 100 to 200 seat rooms and did this 15 to 20 times. Then he started selling his DVD's and he recently wrote a book. So he showed himself to be a fraud when he was trying to make money when he was saying the planet was turning into a star.

I did some research on Aliester Crowley and they both have similar concepts in their beliefs. The main one being that were are all stars and we are gods.
