Those guys are not Illuminati. They started out on YouTube making funny videos with an incredibly shitty camera and had a pretty small fan base for years. Comedy Central gave them a show a few years after just because their internet videos were good. They're just normal dudes. They write the show and even used to live in the house they film it in. Comedy Central network on the other hand is a different topic.
