Re: If Lucifer asked God for forgiveness
forgiveness for what?
lucifer is only fulfilling the destiny god created him with.
lol
where would any christian church be without lucifer?
the fact is
to say that things are not how god made, intended or wanted them (even right now) would be undermining him.

so

he is doing what god wants him to do

if you believe the bible at least

^^^^ mind telling me where you got that? It certainly is not found in the only reliable, God inspired King James Version Bible that I use.

Here you go right here.

Isaiah 14:13-14 (KJV)
13[For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:] 14I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

Re: If Lucifer asked God for forgiveness
Well, Lucifer isn't Satan. Lucifer isn't even a name or an entity.

And Satan doesn't need to ask God for forgiveness since, well, he works for God as the Accuser and all. It's a dirty job but somebody has to do it. Pity all the humans hate him and have demonized him for exposing their sins and corruption.

Re: If Lucifer asked God for forgiveness
Isaiah 14:12-17 is poetic mockery directed at the downfall of the arrogant Babylonian rulers. The fourteenth chapter of Isaiah is not about a fallen angel, but about a fallen Babylonian king

The passages primary meaning is given in Isaiah 14:4 which says that when Israel is restored they will "take up this taunt against the king of Babylon, Verse 12 is a part of this taunt song. This passage refers to the fall of that earthly king.

Isaiah 14:4 That thou shalt take up this proverb against the king of Babylon, and say, How hath the oppressor ceased! the golden city ceased!

Re: If Lucifer asked God for forgiveness
I believe that Satan blasphemed The Holy Spirit, the only "unforgivable" sin.

I'll look it up tomorrow morning when I have a chance.

Matthew 12:31 [KJV] - Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. 32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.

Like children, mankind has to have consequences for their behavior. Lucifer, once the most loyal angel in heaven, now proves his loyalty by remaining in exile to punish those who rape, kill, torture, abuse children and animals. devil6

Re: If Lucifer asked God for forgiveness
^^** post above me is speaking straight out of ignorance, No respect? what bible are you reading? God created the angels out of love to serve him. God loved angels just as much as humans. God created the angels first, millions of years before he even created humans. If you'll notice the gap principle between verse 1 and 2 in genesis and know the difference between "created and made". Also when earth was originally created, it was for the angels to dwell on and lucifer was made in charge over angels. You're saying God didn't respect him? More like lucifer didn't respect God. God created him to be beautiful and powerful! Yet that wasn't enough, he wanted to be worshipped as God. Which is why he rebelled with 1/3 of angels, and God executed judgment over the world which caused dinosaurs to be extinct and fallen angels to become disembodied spirits. Which just roam the world as demons.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 6909091

You forgot something! God is fully a man too.
"1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

2 The same was in the beginning with God.

3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made."

Ok....here ya go....

Isaiah 45:7

I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

The Creator....is both.

You are told here....directly....now....watch the feeble minds explain it away....

And perhaps you will see....

Any other answer is simply...ridiculous.....and limits the greatness of the Creator.

Why must man imagine weaknesses of God?

Perhaps you should study more to show thyself approved....and then together we could question the Creator....so that we may learn.

You have been taught not to question.

This is incorrect.

The Great Love longs to connect with you....lol...but you have to put away these childish notions....of a limited Creator.
