Re: craniosacral therapy
Took my son in for CST for two years, age 2 to 4. I think it is the only reason he can walk at all.

CST works with the natural wash of cranial sacral fluid up the spine over the cranium and back down through the spine. Entire revolution of fluid should be about 9 per minute give or take.

My son has severe Cerebral Palsy. They said he would never walk. We did the best we could for him. They say higher brain function is not required to walk. Walking is a learned response from within the lower Central Nervous System. Unfortunately, balance is accessed differently. He finally got some reciprocal walking motion but no balance.

But I digress, CST requires the facilitator to use a series of slight pressure in key points up the spine and over the cranium which "Hold Back" the cranial sacral fluid with only the pressure of say a nickel to cause a "build up" of the fluid so when they release, there is enough force for the fluid to "clear" the blockages naturally.

It takes enormous patience and a great deal of skill. Carry-over for results can take months. Unless you are in some kind of extreme medical situation, Chinese acupuncture is a much bigger bang for your buck and has much more immediate carry-over for holding the shifts. But not everyone is a candidate for acupuncture. (Western acupuncture, not so much)

Thank you for the replies. I'm going to try it. I'm hoping it relieves my back pain and some other issues.
