if you use men then you should use wives, unless you mean men only have one wife then it really wouldnt be cheating. they should each have at least one of their own. i dont believe in sharing mine.

Or is it possible that marriage for a man is not human nature? We just assume the male is an asshole when statistics show, men are likely to cheat. How about we examine this issue from a different perspective all together?

If they're likely to cheat, then maybe monogamy is another oppressive scam pushed on the people by the elitists.

I mean, there are perfectly good men who are not assholes, who cheat. And there are many more who stay married and are faithful but are still absolutely fucking miserable in their sex lives.

I'd have to agree with the "Don't get married" parts of this thread. It is a horrible idea, the wife and I have had nothing but constant troubles getting loans, dealing with taxes, and other issues since we have been married.

We are getting divorced due to these issues, not separating, as we still very much love each other but this marriage thing is a sham especially for the non-religous types.

Well, each person has their own experiences but I can suggest a few reasons why someone would cheat on their wife (or husband).

Why men cheat:

Empty soul, no love could ever fill it.
Bored with familiarity
Resentment builds up - they punish wife
Attention seeking (good or bad - they need attention)
Need more sex
Need strange sex
Need approval and adoration
Desire to be a bad boy
Wants to be virile before his plumbing gives out
Has a chance, takes it
Is a bad lover and wants to feel like a good one with someone new
New person doesn't know their faults, makes them feel good
To escape reality, like a drug
Maybe they are sensual and their wife isn't, want to be with someone sensual
Not attracted to their wife any longer
Wife is a giant pain in the butt and they need someone playful to be with
Cultural (Italians have their gumar (sp?) and Mexicans have their Sanchas
Doesn't plan it, but is attracted to someone, can't resist.
Gets drunk, gives self permission to cheat

Why women cheat:

Husband is a workaholic
Husband is a bad lover, doesn't turn them on, etc.
Resentment, does it to get back at him
The thrill of the romance (new)
Chance to feel pretty or sexy again
Likes to have a secret
Is chased by a man, can't resist
For the goodies (dinners, gifts, etc.)
Empty soul
To trade "up" to a better husband
To get somewhere in the work place
Can't say no to forceful coworker
Bored and kids driving her crazy, needs playtime
Husband is gay but doesn't know it or knows it
Married to a beta, alpha is a challenge
Gets drunk, gives self permission to cheat
Likes being courted (this is the primary reason, I think)

I am not a psychologist, nor do I play one on TV, but this has been my take on the subject. At my workplace(s) I was hit on a lot single or married by a lot of married men. Generally, I think a lot of men are "hunters" and enjoy the chase. Especially if the "deer" is not interested. Sometimes the married men compete with eachother to see if they can "take down" the deer over the other "hunter". Sometimes saying no to a married man is an aphrodisiac.

^^This happens right around the time a woman feels bored and stultified by how abysmally stupid and one-dimensional her man is.
That's why guys often discard their wives who just gave them the treasure of a genetic line..after she's turned herself inside-out to give something tangible and meaningful...
men who do this kind of sh*t you describe often look like pigs themselves while expecting change and age to sit under a bell jar in their wives while she struggles to meet his needs for the superficial perfections of his unquenchible imagination..what f*cking pointless pressure that leads to overt face punching.
