Rural Canada
Our social safety net, the pension plan, has almost $200 billion surplus. It will be there to help you when you retire at 65 (probably go to 67) to the tune of about $1800 per month if that is your only income. This is unlike US Social Security which is broke. Our government can't touch it for other things.
Our government relaxed guns laws after realizing that gun control and registration does not work.
We are 1/10 the population of the USA where land is relatively cheap. I just bought 450 acres with my own private lake for $160/acre. When I retire in about another 10 years I will have enough wood to harvest to keep the money coming long after I am gone. It will be a retirement package for my kids too. This is the land of opportunity.
Country is in an economic boom where jobs in excess of 100K are a dime a dozen for skilled trades people, especially in the west (Alberta in particular).
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 31346699 Hi, If you will tell, where in Canada did you buy 450 acres so cheap? Thanks Quoting: Anonymous Coward 30603225 Eastern Canada
