General and former CIA official William Boykin had to say in a 2012 interview: “I’ll be very honest with you. The situation in America could be such that martial law is actually warranted, and that situation in my view could occur if we had an economic collapse… The dam is just about to break on our economy, and I think when it does, there’s going to be a major disruption of the distribution of food. And I think what you’ll see particularly in the inner cities is riots, civil unrest that ultimately might justify martial law.”

My personal background has taught me well that a corrupt system never corrects itself. Instead, it spins out of control with broken platforms, layered mechanisms to impose its servitude and influence, complete with side projects to illicitly support itself. See the theft of Iraq gold and theft of Libyan gold. Their people will never again see that wealth. The US system will remain broken until it collapses, never to be corrected until after its collapse.

After seeing doomy reports like this every year since i can remember, It behooves me to think of this in any othger way than a scare tactic to keep people paying attention to the economic illusion.

By the way, I went over a fiscal cliff yesterday I was told by the MSM.

My opinion is the "math" (level of sovereign debt) will cause the collapse - as it will be unsustainable at some point - the FED can only print so much before the ponzi collapses.

Yeah, this Boykin a piece of work. No one should trust his motivations.

People have a very temporal point of view. Everything is based on a scale reflecting the average life span (72 yrs +/-), and things that don't happen immediately are left without further thought.

Let's look -
Fiscal Cliff debacle
Meeting the Debt Limit
Constant embitterment surrounding the Constitution
Heightened suppression and/or expression of suppression of the BOR
Welfare and other entitlement programs out of control
Now "Free" Health care
US Military involved around the globe - now Africa spinning up
US Government actively involved in the overthrow of other governments, specifically to emplace MB
Rewarding failure and those refusing to do for themselves/ their family
Penalizing success

and this list carries on into every facet of each citizen's life

No family or business can move forward while spending multitudes more than they make, however, that is the exact protocol that has been adopted and fostered for the country.

If you ran a business this way, you'd be closed down and the various wares and assets auctioned off. If you ran a family/ home this way; you would be in the street, destitute, and begging for bread and water to feed your children.

Why should we openly and decidedly deceive ourselves into believing the USA as a country being run this way is any different?
