Police say 2 California teens spiked milkshakes of too-strict parents to log onto Internet

I've heard of parents who sedate their kids for long drives like on vacations. The kids get rest, the paremts are less tired and the trip is safer.

Police blame it on "bad parenting"

Probably use a shotgun on them while they sleep in the future, to tie up loose ends...unless they ban guns...then just beat them in the head with lead pipes...

Sounds more like weak minded controlling parents who are probably bigoted Christians as well.

How do you think the nation's youth got to where it is at now? Bad government or bad parenting?

I think it would depend on the individual family. The lack of morals in todays GIMEE GIMEE society can be the root cause.

It all starts in the home and A LOT has to do with lack of parenting and family values. Sure, the government had used propaganda to entice women to abandon their children in the name of women's rights to become slaves to commerce, but that is still a free will choice of the parent to skip their God given duties to pursue man made selfish desires.

What we see today is a lack of good parenting and family values that have been replaced by corporations who teach our children how to consume and be worthless robotic slaves.

Imagine if people stopped this BS so they would work on perfecting themselves, their home lives and communities. It would change the world. But unfortunately people look outside of themselves and their homes for salvation when all along it has been staring right at them in the mirror their whole lives and those little DNA clones running around your house are our futures. Someone once said "It all begins at home". We now see how true that is.

My son told me this yesterday as she lives close to where he does and they have only been there for about a month. He said he saw channel 40(Fox) and channel 10 there along with the police.

I think that reporting it to the police is a good first step, because when the brat is found wandering the streets with no shelter or support, they will need and excuse. Because you know those police, the first thing they will do is contact the parents.

I can't believe some of the idiots defending what the kids did without even having all the details. The parents are "too strict" yeah says who, the kids? The news reporter?

The parents don't want their teenagers surfing the web after 10pm, so what? Seems like fairly normal parenting practice to me, I've seen parents do far worse (earlier times, only allowing a certain number of hours). Poor kids, guess they will just have to play video games or watch TV after 10pm! Poor kids.

What I want to know is if the sleeping pills were their parents, theirs, or gotten from someone else.

In the first case, not only did they steal from their parents, they most likely gave them a higher than normal dose to make sure they fell asleep. Otherwise, if the parents were taking the pills anyway.. what would the point be? Little shits probably dumped five or six pills into each shake, because let's face it.. these kids are stupid. This is the BEST case scenario.

In the second and third case, do these kids know that one of their parents isn't allergic to sleeping pills? What happens if one is, and they go into shock after drinking the laced milk shake? What if one is diabetic and dies in their sleep because they can't wake up due to a low blood sugar episode? The possibilities are endless, but idiot kids like this don't think about consequences...

Which brings me to the main point overall. These kids are fucking monsters and need to have the fear of death put in them. No TV, no video games, no internet, no car, no nothing. Food, water, sleep. You're going to fucking spike someone's drink with drugs and think that's alright? What's it going to be next time, poison? These little shits need some real disciplinary, I doubt they are really "too-strict" according to anyone but their spoiled fucking brat kids.

Also belt here. Might sound harsh but you quickly learnt and never forgot there were consequences to your actions. :-)

You would be pushing your kids away forever and your future grandkids. You would be pushing them into a world without love, guidance and family support, fostering a patern of orphans for future generations.
