I've heard of parents who sedate their kids for long drives like on vacations. The kids get rest, the paremts are less tired and the trip is safer.

Ok so, many many details left out.

1. It was a prescription sleeping med, so I'm assuming that the parents were already using it to sleep, they got drugged with thier own drugs.

2. How was the Internet "shut down" if they are using access policies on thier router then the girls would need to know the password to the router for it to make any difference. And if so then why would you not just login with ur wifi and rework the access policy when the parents willingly drugged themselves to sleep.

3. Finally.......we're they black? cool2

Probably use a shotgun on them while they sleep in the future, to tie up loose ends...unless they ban guns...then just beat them in the head with lead pipes...

Re: Police say 2 California teens spiked milkshakes of too-strict parents to log onto Internet
Sounds more like weak minded controlling parents who are probably bigoted Christians as well.

Police say two California teenagers used a prescription sleeping medication to spike the milkshakes of too-strict parents so they could log onto the Internet.

The parents called police and the 15-year-old Rocklin girl and a 16-year-old friend were taken to Juvenile Hall. Rocklin is 20 miles northeast of Sacramento.

The Sacramento Bee ( [link to DON'T_USE-THIS] ) reports the girls offered to pick up milkshakes at a fast-food restaurant for the parents of one of the girls on Friday night.

The drug was mixed into the shakes and the couple fell asleep. The suspicious parents picked up a drug test kit the following day.

I think it would depend on the individual family. The lack of morals in todays GIMEE GIMEE society can be the root cause.

It all starts in the home and A LOT has to do with lack of parenting and family values. Sure, the government had used propaganda to entice women to abandon their children in the name of women's rights to become slaves to commerce, but that is still a free will choice of the parent to skip their God given duties to pursue man made selfish desires.

What we see today is a lack of good parenting and family values that have been replaced by corporations who teach our children how to consume and be worthless robotic slaves.

Imagine if people stopped this BS so they would work on perfecting themselves, their home lives and communities. It would change the world. But unfortunately people look outside of themselves and their homes for salvation when all along it has been staring right at them in the mirror their whole lives and those little DNA clones running around your house are our futures. We ALL have to invest in our children.

So it's okay to put your kids on a barrage of anti-psychotics and other pharmaceuticals...

But the kid gives you a harmless doggy downer and you get a great night's sleep and it's reason to call the police.

I think that reporting it to the police is a good first step, because when the brat is found wandering the streets with no shelter or support, they will need and excuse. Because you know those police, the first thing they will do is contact the parents.

Re: Police say 2 California teens spiked milkshakes of too-strict parents to log onto Internet
I can't believe some of the idiots defending what the kids did without even having all the details. The parents are "too strict" yeah says who, the kids? The news reporter?

The parents don't want their teenagers surfing the web after 10pm, so what? Seems like fairly normal parenting practice to me, I've seen parents do far worse (earlier times, only allowing a certain number of hours). Poor kids, guess they will just have to play video games or watch TV after 10pm! Poor kids.

What I want to know is if the sleeping pills were their parents, theirs, or gotten from someone else.

In the first case, not only did they steal from their parents, they most likely gave them a higher than normal dose to make sure they fell asleep. Otherwise, if the parents were taking the pills anyway.. what would the point be? Little shits probably dumped five or six pills into each shake, because let's face it.. these kids are stupid. This is the BEST case scenario.

In the second and third case, do these kids know that one of their parents isn't allergic to sleeping pills? What happens if one is, and they go into shock after drinking the laced milk shake? What if one is diabetic and dies in their sleep because they can't wake up due to a low blood sugar episode? The possibilities are endless, but idiot kids like this don't think about consequences...

Which brings me to the main point overall. These kids are fucking monsters and need to have the fear of death put in them. No TV, no video games, no internet, no car, no nothing. Food, water, sleep. You're going to fucking spike someone's drink with drugs and think that's alright? What's it going to be next time, poison? These little shits need some real disciplinary, I doubt they are really "too-strict" according to anyone but their spoiled fucking brat kids.

This is a family with some serious issues. My parents were normal, not obsessively strict, and I'd never in a million years dream of drugging them, even if they wouldn't let me do something.

Fucked up.

Yeah, that's a good libtard attitude. Don't punish your kids or they might be mad at you!

You can love your kids without giving them unlimited access to technology.. what do you think kids did 100 years ago?

Yeah, we shouldn't punish these kids.. just let them think that drugging people is okay. I hope you never have kids.
