I took some Salvia Officinalis herb tablets from our local pharmacy and two times 200mg Ibuprofen, three times a day (or when the agony got unbearable) for the ear infection when it was as worst. It has mostly receded now though. Waited for three days, five hours each at the hospital. In queue with those pains and there were just so many sick people for the ENT specialist that I didn't get through at all. So I let my sickness run itself out.

Didn't take much except some Vitamin C and Multivitamin supplements. Kept eating a lot of bananas, since I had a sudden craving for them. I am afraid my eardrum might have been damaged by the infection though, the hearing is reduced at one ear along with some serious tinnitus.

The strange thing is that I am frequently around an elderly relative. Said relative should be really sick from me by now, but it seems they are immune to whatever it is that's going around here. Have to mention they are older then ninety years.

what's even weirder was when I tried to post some helpful tips that helped me get over it (on another thread), my posts have vanished. Just fyi, it came on dec 20 (overnight) and lasted about 11 days. t was the worst sick I have ever been.

1 week now since we got a viral infection, whole family and I have 3 more friends that got it. No coughing tho. Fever, headaches and a shitty feeling all day long. Eastern Europe here. And they've been chemtrailing.

I was just told that the flu shot this year got the wrong strain so it doesn't work.

Here is an article where the CDC says the flu shot doesn't work. Guess all people get is a nice dose of mercury and aluminum plus who knows what else.

I know I have the flu...it's spreading around like crazy in the south right now.

Brief's right. My ex wife had bacterial meningitis. If you've had a severe head injury you're more susceptible.

When I was a kid and I got sick my farmer grandparents used to say "slap some goose grease on 'em". Big hunting family. They always rendered the goose fat and kept in in a jar for colds and then rub it on my chest like vapo-rub. Man I hated that crap. I used to be close to death before I told anyone in my family I wasn't feeling well.

I know my daughter who is a sub teacher has been etting alot of work saying everyone seems to be sick, a grandchild had flu and strep right about Christmas, along with this couch I have had for a while.

I read something about an onion by ones bed when sick....hmm.

Several family have had some flu-like illness off and on for nearly three months! Since Christmas, seems like the whole community is sick.

I'd managed to avoid it (swab ears with hydrogen peroxide, take D and eat LOTS of turmeric and cayenne) until last weekend. Total sudden onset too! Felt really weird for the better part of a day... drugged sort of weird... then full on flu symptoms.

Took 2K vitamin C, ate as much fresh garlic as I could stand, felt like I spent a whole day in the bathroom, then another in bed. Woke today doing Much better.

Gotta love garlic (if you can stand it lol)... genuine "miracle cure" for some things.

Garlic is so powerful that if you put a clove in your shoe, you'll end up burping garlic. It's transferred across membranes extremely fast. Actually it might be used that way as a carrier substance to get another substance in your bloodstream. Seems like I read about someone rubbing orange juice on their skin, then garlic and then some of the organic components of the orange was detected in their bloodstream.

One way to eat it easier is to try pickled garlic. Most people like it. You can buy it ready made. Persian folks often eat it.

Note, when they shutdown a long term health facility like that, it's not uncommon that it's due to tuberculosis. Elderly folks have been exposed as children, and then cured of it, inside their lungs the bacteria cocoons off. Then later when their immune system is depressed as they age it flares up. Since everyone is immune depressed in those facilities it's a huge risk. It's why TB tests are done routinely. If someone slips through, either a worker or patient, then a lot of people could get terribly sick. Remember too that there's a lot of Christmas visitations.

Yes - eat the raw garlic! This is common knowledge in India and probably a lot of other places.

I posted before about slicing up an onion and keeping it nearby. It's the same as garlic. What does that set you back, about 30 cents? It takes 2 minutes to slice!

There is thiosulfinate in garlic and onions that help you out. It doesn't draw out bacteria from the air as far as I know. There is science behind this. It is not a wives tale. This is the cheapest solution and will help your immune system when you beat the cold or flu naturally.
