I would agree, to a degree. Getting the flu shot in the middle of flu season is dangerous. If you get the shot and then come into contact with the flu before your body has had a chance to build up an immunity you can get a severe flu. Best chance is to take the shot before the flu is rampant. Otherwise, this is your risk. Good thing, is that if you recover, your body has built up an immunity to it. If you take a flu shot, get it early!
