Millions of combat vets are cowards? Really?
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 28870983 Yeah, really? I submit no veterans are cowards. But to be fair, I agree somewhat with the second part. The populace couldn't hold out long against the full might of the US Military. do you think the average solider is going to go up against US citizens? There is a reason some folks go in, and stay in. I served. I saw it. They could never make it on the outside. Just sayin. Yes, some will lay down their weapons when given an illegal order... but others will shoot out of fear for themselves, or fear for repercussions to their families, or because they flat out lack empathy or like doing it. Many more soldiers than any of us would like to admit will shoot when ordered to, regardless of who they are shooting at.
