it's obvious to me that the controllers are installing a class system in america...apparently the vast majority of us are not even worthy of the right to have guns. no, only those who work for GOVERNMENT are worthy of that.

and the sheeple seem to want it that way!

the recent rash of mass shootings only served to REINFORCE a perception, that had already been There for a long time. americans for the most part WANT domination, because in their stupified state they confuse that with security.

the biggest problem in america is personal insecurity. THAT accounts for every growth spurt of big government and every advance of that government into our personal space. i see nothing to stop it from achieving it's ultimate goal, of monitoring and dominating every person, place and thing in the country.

I've lived in both CT and NY and agree. They are both beautiful states, they were once so blessed but now it looks as if they are in a race to see who can drive the most people to leave fastest

The most I've heard a NY official say is "well, we are more competitive on "X" tax than NJ or CT, as if those were the only options people had on where to live

You are talking about the politicians, correct? According to the law of the land, it is the duty of the people to possess such weapons, so the only ones who can violate the law ARE, in fact, one of the three branches of Government or their employees.

The People are NOT and cannot have their right to keep and bear arms, that is the Supreme law of the land.

Obviously "the people" can have the second amendment nullified, modified, or legally interpreted in different ways.

The "law of the land" at one time or another has been used to justify slavery, voting rights restrictions, and alcohol restriction. This is no different.

These stupid Americans, they love their fucking New York City jews. Even when they're totaly getting fucked in the ass by them, they still love "God's chosen people."

One can only hope that the knee jerk laws will quickly be challanged by the people of NY and the Supreme Court will strike them down for their being blatantly unconstitutional. Sadly they will be the law of the state for several months or even years until they are struck down on constitutional grounds. The lawmakers of NY should know this. This kind of legislative grandstanding is a waste of time for our lawmakers and for the taxpayers of NY who so generously support them.

My 5 year old daughter is the ONLY thing that would make me hesitate...
I too am in my 40's, I work a full time job, I pay my taxes like a good little slave, I dont cause any trouble, in fact I dont even have a parking ticket against my record, I have NEVER been in trouble.
But this gun ban...This is the line.

They will NOT disarm me and make me defenseless.
I own guns to protect my life, and more importantly, the lives of my wife and baby girl.

There are worse things than death.

Interesting.. Illinois and now New York. I can see this being attempted and possibly accomplished state-by-state, gradually introduced and then eventually normalized... for some. I can think of several states, mainly southern ones and some western states (Arizona, at least), which would likely(hopefully) not be able to accomplish this.

It has only been about 150 years since the last civil war. It seems distant only because no one alive now was alive then, but it really wasn't all that long ago. Of course now, with all of the tech advances since then and who-knows-what at the government's disposal, I think any opposition would be pretty screwed. Seems clear that whatever is coming will likely come to fruition soon.

Thanks for the history lesson and lets point out the obvious (since you missed it) it was nearly always those in control of Government who set such restrictions.

Like it or not, Government is the issue. People will only be stepped on to a point by those who would set themselves up a "leaders".
