The Law by Fredrich Bastiat 1850 as read by G. Edward Griffin
Just as a gardener uses his axes, pruning hooks, saws and shears to shape his garden, trees and shrubs into shapes and forms he sees fit.
The socialist looks to use the law in the same manner to shape groups of humans that they view as inert matter or clay to be molded and organized
in a fashion they consider to be more perfect then the individuals own liberty may dictate is best. The socialist views himself to be of a
different and more enlightened "clay" then the masses of unorganized humans seemingly unorganized and needing organization by force of law.

This was a very popular book many years ago and should be taught in every school. It describes what is so wrong with the current state of affairs.
